Great Women

Today I had a chance to go to lunch with my good friend. We went to layton and had lunch with some great women. I just want to tell these ladys thank you for letting me come and spend time with them. So to Jo, Bonnie, Amber, Sarah, Damielle, and Jillene thank you for lunch and letting me crash. And to my friend for being one of the best Sisters I have.

Well I guess you can't help who your family is, so you just deal with it. My brother Justin is single with a girl friend. They have no concept of time. They invited us up to their condo for dinner, well lets just say the 5:30 dinner turned into 8:30 dinner. Which on any other day would have been fine I guess but on this night my husband had to be in bed by 9:00 because he has to work in the morning. I know you are saying that is not bad but when he has to get up a 3:00am to be to work, well lets say he does not get a lot of sleep. Their condo was on the east side of town. The night was fine but we were all hungry. I did meet his girl friend and she is very nice. I hope that he is happy and I am glad we do not run on his time all the time.

Well my brother Justin came down on Saturday. I was happy to see him but he was not feeling good. He came and had dinner with us on Sunday. His girlfriend comes in on Wednesday. Annabell lives in Austria. So I have yet to meet her. Yes it is a long distance relationship, but they make it work. She is hoping to live in the states and she is working on that. It will be nice to meet her and spend so time with them. I hope he gets better so. My kids really like him, he is the fun Uncle and he really likes them. He is really good with kids, it is to bad he does not have any of his own.

Back to school

I know you all are in amazement that I am writing so soon. Put you tongues back in your mouth and read on. Well today was the first day back to school. Everyone had a hard time getting up and moving. In some ways it was nice to get back to school and others not so much. My children can take care of them self, to a point. So I have gotten to stay up late and sleep in that is what I miss. I am sure we will get back in the routine of school. I loved going back to work at my school. I love working with my kids. It is fun when they finally get something that you have been teaching them for a while, or when they move up a level in their reading. They were so happy to see me when I came in, it was great. Well I hope everyone had a great first day back to school. I know I did.

New Year

I know everyone get up off the floor!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to tell everyone Happy New Years and that one of my New Years Goals is to be better about writing on this blog. We had a great Christmas and New Years even tho I had to stay home, it was still great. I hope that everyone had a great Holiday Season. Everyone here is fine and doing great. I love the holidays but I am sure glad when they are over. Well I am getting tired and this is getting long for me, so I will say good night and will try to write as often as I can. My goal is 3 times a week. Wish me luck.

Old Friends and Family

Well I guess I should write something for October. On Saturday the 18th I got together with an old friend. I have not see her in 22 years. Oh, I guess I shouldn't really say that. It pretty much dates me, doesn't it. Oh well I am old. Any way we had so much fun talking about everyone we know and what they are doing. We sat there for 3 hours. We could have stayed all night but my kids started calling me and wanting me to come home. We have another friend who lives here that we were going to get with but she was out of town. We are going to try to get together ever other month. I hope we do, I was nice to sit and chat and to hear about all the people she has stayed in contact with. The family, is my older sister Kodie. We do not get to see her very often. In fact up until 6 years ago, I had no idea where or how she was, they were missing to my family. I finily found her and found out she had another boy who was 12years old. I knew about her first son but not her second. Any way her and her new husband went to florida and they stoped here and then went back to Jackson. So yesterday we got to spend about 6 hours with them. It was so nice and I have missed her and I am glad she is in my life again. My kids now know who she is and what she looks like. We do not talk alot but at least I know where she is and that she is ok. Well this is getting long and I am sure you are all asleep, so I am going to go for now. I don't know when I will be back. I really am not very good about blogging.

Joshua and Soccer

Joshua had a game today. He is doing so much better. He has not made a goal yet but we are hopeful. His team won 6 to 1 and they played their hearts out. He loves playing. I am very proud of him, and I am very proud of Michaela, the one day she gets to sleep in and she gets up and supports her brother. She cheers him on and is helping him practice. I am so lucky that they love and support each other. I have some great kids.

Biggest Loser

Well we are into the second week of the biggest loser. If you did not know my family and friends are doing a 3 month biggest loser. It was $20 to join and $5 if you gain in a week. Joshua is trying to gain, but he keeps losing. We don't hold him to the money. Their are 8 people in the game and so far no one has had to pay. I am glad I am not alone in my family. We are really working hard. This week I have a cold, so exericing has not been easy. Any way we are doing great.

Look 3 post in one day. The reason for this post, is to let you know for some reason Joshua's blog is not working. We hope to have it fixed soon. So for now he will post on my blog. We just got back from soccer practice and he is getting so much better. He really loves soccer. I am glad he has found something he likes to do. He also likes to practice swimming. He really tries hard, which is great.

Well here is my two cutie pies. My sister and my daughter. Can you believe that she is a freshman in high school. She is now the manager of the soccer team. I think she likes it and it will be good for her. I am really old and she is so pretty. I wonder who she takes after. Must be Nicole.

Joshua has started soccer and he loves playing. They have had one game and won 4 - 0. I am glad he is playing. Thier are only 7 kids on his team. They are still young and only play with 6 so they have a sub. I am glad he is having fun and has a great coach.

Ward BBQ

Will another ward activity has come and gone. Thank you to all that helped make the BBQ a success. Everyone had a great time and the food was great also. Thanks to my four cooks. The Snows and the Larsen did a great job for me. I was glad to see so many of the ward come out. Thank you for your support. With out all of you my job would be really hard. Thank you again.

Rayn, The nexted picture is of my sister in law Jenn, The nexted is of Caleb my nephew (twin of Rayn, and last my neice Gabby. We had a lot of fun with them when we were on vacation. Gabby came home with us and we have been having a lot of fun. Her birthday was August 20th and we took her to lagoon. She had so much fun. I did not put pictures of Jason and Nicole because you have all ready seen them. They are so much fun.

Well I just want to say I am finished. I have finished my August page. I know you should all sit down. I am now working on my November pages. I know have a seat. I think that my August page is oh so cute. On a side note I just want every one to know that I leave on Monday the 28th and will not be back until August 13th. This is my cousin Jana and her family. I have not seen them in a while. (5 years) We got to see her last night for a few hours and then they got up and went home. 4:00 am is when they left. I wish she could have stayed longer but it was a nice time. Me and Jana are the black sheep of the family. I think that is why I love her so much. We don't get to talk much, but now she has verizon, we will be able to talk all the time. This piture is from a wedding she went, for her bother that I was not able to go to. She got to see my Mom, brothers and my little sister Nicole.

My brother Justin was down. He was here from July 2 until July 6th. We went to dinner the night he got here and that was all I saw of him. Justin does not stay with me, he stays with my cousin Ron. I really don't know why. I guess I do know why, it is because I do not drink and they do. I just feel sad that drinking is so important to them that he can't go a couple of days. Oh well my sister Nicole is comming and I am the only one that she likes to stay with.

Getting ready

We are not doing much, We are getting ready for my sister to come down. We just can't wait. Joshua starts his next set of swimming lessons on monday. I have a wedding to go to on friday the 18th and I have to pick alot of people up at the airport, so I will be spending most of my time on the road to the airport. This week I am just going to take it easy and get ready for the family.

Girls Camp

Michaela had a great time at girls camp. She loves her leaders and has the best time when ever they get together. I think when you have good leaders the girls are more open and have a better time. I am thankful to those leaders for all the hard work they put in to making girls camp fun. Michaela looks forward to camp every year and young women's every Wednesday. She even liked the dancing (you know who you are). So thank you Michaela had a lot of fun. I only wish I had pictures.

Swimming

Well Joshua has started his second set of swim lessons. He really loves going which is great because I though he would be to shy. His teacher for the next two weeks is the dad. He seems to really like him. Joshua is doing so much better then I thought he would. I mean at listening and not playing. All day long all I hear is is it time to go now. I am glad he is having fun.

Well I am sorry that I have not posted for about 2 weeks. Well I had the ward camp out. I am glad it is over, but this year I think was the best. I believed everyone had a good time. I am thankful for those people that are always there to help, even though some of them give me a hard time. They make me miss my family less. (you all know who you are) It was really cold but we all made it though the cold. Joshua and I have had swimming lessons the last two weeks.(pictures to follow) Michaela has left for girls camp. I am sure they are having fun and they have great leaders with them. Not much else going on, so I will go for now. As soon as I learn how to take my pictures off my carmera and on to my computer, we will have some on the blog.

Last day of school

Today was my kids last day of school. Like so many other kids. To start with my daughter was so happy, when I let her walk from the school to the ice cream place with her friend. I am a very protective mother. So you can just imagine how happy she was to go. I was a little afraid the whole time she was gone, but in the end she was fine. My son I thought I was going to have to pick him up and drag him out of school crying. He gets so attacted to people and does not want to leave them, but today was a good day and there was no crying or fussing at all. He is looking forward to moving to 3rd grade. All in all this was a better day then I thought it would be for all of us.
